Top 8 for the gauntlet

  1. Dimir Midrange has the best WR and beats Izzet Aggro (3-1). It loses to Lizards (0-2), but that's only 2 matches.
  2. Boros Dragons is the most consistent deck. It's strong against Lifegain (4-1) and 4c Control (4-0), and it's even against most of the field.
  3. Lifegain beats Izzet Aggro, Spellementals (3-0) and Lizards. Boros Dragons is its worst matchup (1-4).
  4. Jund Sacrifice is the most played deck. It's near 50% against everything, and it's weak against Spellementals (2-4).
  5. Izzet Aggro is a top-3 deck by presence. It's even against Dragons and Jund, but it struggles against Lifegain, Dimir and Lizards.
  6. Izzet Spellementals has a below-50% WR overall, but it beats Aggro (5-3) and Jund (4-2). It also loses to Lifegain (0-3), so Lifegain should be in the gauntlet to test it.
  7. Rakdos Lizards is a deck to include as the Izzet Aggro predator (4-1). It loses to Lifegain (2-4), so it's a coverage slot more than a threat.
  8. 4c Control has a 51.9% WR and a mixed matrix. Boros Dragons beats it 4-0, but it does well against Dimir (2-1) and Jund (2-1).

Honorable mentions: Mono Green Landfall has a 57.9% WR but only 3 entries and 19 matches. It's the most likely to move up as the sample grows. Golgari Midrange (28.6%), Izzet Control (26.3%) and Dimir Excruciator (31.6%) are underperforming.
